Pirate's Cove Tropical Bar and Grill

4609 Kellogg Ave., East End

Arrrrrr, mateys! Cincinnati might not be the pirate capital of the world, but that doesn't mean that we landlubbers can't have some fun of our own.

Visit Pirate's Cove in the Four Seasons Marina, and you'll forget you're even in Ohio. Only minutes from Coney Island and Riverbend Music Center, the Cove's outdoor covered tiki bar is the largest in the country and overlooks 550 boats in the marina.

The restaurant and bar is open seasonally April through October and offers a daily drink special from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. as well as a happy hour with 50 cents off all drinks from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday-Thursday.

Enjoy your time by the water with some Maryland crab cakes made with sweet blue crabmeat and topped with Bistro Sauce, or the seafood chowder chock full of clams, fish, shrimp and crab in a rich, creamy potato stock. Or you can kick back with a cheeseburger in paradise and an ice-cold margarita.

Whatever you order, you're sure to enjoy your vacation-for-a-day with the sounds of local bands playing every night. And your vacation doesn't have to end just because the temperature drops or it starts to rain; Pirate's Cove has roll-down sides and heaters to keep "vacationers" happy and comfortable.

Hours: Open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday-Saturday.
